Payment Methods
We accept payment online by Pay Pal, MasterCard, Visa,
Discover and American Express. Your credit card will not
be charged until your order ships. Checks and Money orders
accepted via mail. No COD’s accepted at this time
Sales Tax
Our business is located in Florida; we are required to
charge state sales tax of 6.5% to shipments within
Florida.
Return Policy and
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your order,
simply return it to us within 30 days of its shipment date
and we will credit you for the entire amount of your order
less the shipping charges. Exchanges can also be made
within 30 days of the shipment date.
Please contact us prior to any returns at
www.floridabackcountry.com We may not accept returns
unless we are contacted. We can also be contacted at captron@floridabackcountry.com.
For your protection, please insure the package for its
full value and obtain a package tracking number. We cannot
be responsible for lost or damaged packages that are sent
to us for return or exchange.
Please keep all packaging materials, manuals, warranties
and accessories intact. Products with missing or severely
damaged packaging, manuals, warranties or accessories will
be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Manufacturers' Warranties
Products offered on our site are covered by a
manufacturer's warranty.
All claims made under a manufacturer's warranty must be
made directly to the manufacturer.
Privacy
FBC respects your privacy. This "Privacy
Policy" constitutes the agreement between you and
Florida BackCountry, Inc. regarding your use of our
collection and use of, contact and other information you
may provide while using our Site.
We may use Personal Information to send you news about
upcoming events and promotions. We also may ask you to
participate in an online survey. You can at any time
"opt-out" of receiving such communications by
clicking on the "Remove" link at the bottom of
any email you receive.
Your Personal Information is used by Florida BackCountry,
Inc in order to process and ship your orders. Florida
BackCountry, Inc. does not sell, trade, rent or release
your Personal Information to Third Parties without your
permission.
How and When We
Ship
Delivery Times and
Back-Ordered Items
Florida BackCountry attempts to ship all in-stock orders
within 48 hours (excluding days when our shippers will not
accept shipments). Most Priority Mail deliveries arrive
within two to three business days, and most ground
deliveries arrive within five business days. If we are
able to partial ship an incomplete order, we may ship the
items separately at no additional cost to you.
Due to the wide selection of products we carry, items will
sometimes become temporarily unavailable. We make every
effort to get out of stock products back into inventory as
quickly as possible. However, the manufacturer of an item
may also be out of stock which could cause a much longer
delay. We do everything we can to fill backorders as
quickly as possible and your credit card is never charged
until we ship your order.
Florida BackCountry, Inc. ships all orders via Priority
Mail, UPS or Fed EX. All weekend orders are shipped
Monday, or the next business day (if Monday is a business
holiday).
Alaska and Hawaii Deliveries
Please add 1 to 3 additional days for standard
delivery.
Outside of the United States
We regret that at this time we are unable to offer
shipping services to anyone outside of the United States.
We suggest that you have your order shipped to a friend or
family member in the United States who can then send it to
you.
Push Pole Shipping
Although
we pick up shipping on all of the products we manufacture
(Polemate, Towermate, Railmate, Rodmate and Paddlemate)
certain other items in our online store require that we
charge shipping.
Push
Poles are the most expensive item we sell as far as
shipping costs are concerned. Domestic parcel services do
not ship these items because they surpass the carrier’s
maximum length requirements. Therefore the items must be
shipped by freight. Let’s face it, your dealing with a
very long, cumbersome object and the freight companies
charge for it in a big way. After much research we have
found the least expensive, quality freight line to handle
you shipment.
Many are
surprised to find that the shipping costs can cost nearly
the amount of the item itself. Many factors come into
play, primarily if the push pole is to be shipped to a
residential or business address. An example of the
difference in that factor alone can be as much as 75 %. If
at all possible it is always advantageous to have your
push pole shipped to a business address (possibly a friend
or relative you know in business) to cut your shipping
costs.
We at
Florida Backcountry understand that Push Poles are not
readily available locally and in order to promote the
sport we love, are offering to those who purchase a push
pole with us to pick up 30% of the freight charges you
incur. We love shallow water fishing and love to help
other anglers get involved and enjoy our passion.
