Jon Cave
is a professional guide with over 15 years experience in
saltwater flats fishing. He is the founder of the oldest
fly-fishing school in Florida at Seminole Community
College, co-founder of the Florida Backcountry Fly-fishing
Association, and an executive board member of the Florida
Conservation Association. An outdoor writer and
photographer, Capt. Jon has been featured in Fishing
World, Field & Stream, Florida Sportsman, Florida
Magazine, and Woods and Waters magazines. In
addition to being a USCG certified captain, he is an International
Game Fish Association World Record holder, a lecturer
on fly-fishing and tying, and holds a Master of Science
degree in Natural Resources, specializing in Fisheries
Management.
Captain
Ron Rebeck
conducts lectures and instruction on fly-fishing and
tying. Along with Capt. Jon, he is co-founder of the Backcountry
Fly-fishing Association. Capt. Ron has been a regular
columnist for a sports fishing magazine, and a contributor
to the monthly Florida Woods and Waters
publication. He has been featured in Saltwater
Sportsman, Fishing World, and Florida Sportsman.
He holds a USCG certified captains' license.

Kent Gibbens
is a lifelong resident of the East Central Florida area
and has gathered an impressive array of International
Game Fish Association World Record fish in a
variety of line weight classes throughout the years. Capt.
Kent also holds a Master's Degree in Education,
and has taught and lectured on sport fishing throughout
Florida. He has been a featured speaker at the Saltwater
Sportsman Fishing Shows and has made numerous P.B.S.
television appearances. He has been featured in Florida
Sportsman and Saltwater Sportsman magazines
among other publications.
The
comfortable and specially equipped 18' backcountry skiffs
will take you onto the pristine waters of Mosquito Lagoon,
Indian River Lagoon, and Banana River Lagoon to challenge
a variety of saltwater gamefish.
These
Captains are highly experienced and professional, and are
avid conservationists, with years of fishing and guiding
experience among them. Captains Jon, Kent and Ron offer
Saltwater Flats charters in and around the Merritt Island
